The producer of 2006’s biggest crossover club smash “Put your hands up for Detroit”...

A night full of House and Electro with:

FEDDE LE GRAND - FLG | Dj Fedde le Grand / www.myspace.com/djfeddelegrand

Top international deejay and producer FEDDE LE GRAND (FLG | Dj Fedde le Grand) is currently one of the most in-demand DJ-producers on the planet and producer of 2006’s biggest crossover club smash “Put your hands up for Detroit”.

Having DJed since 1998 and produced since 2001, Fedde’s biggest success came in 2006 in the form of his UK #1 crossover hit “Put your hands up for Detroit”, which was first released by Flamingo Recordings (www.flamingorecordings.com), then by CR2 Records and, finally, Ministry of Sound.

The single “PYHUFD” was hammered by the likes of Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Tom Novy and Pete Tong, who described it as his ‘… biggest tune of the summer’. It remains in the UK Top Ten at present and, with Eminem’s Detroit-based hip hop collective D12 ready to release a wicked vocal version of “PYHUFD” in early 2007, there seems no end in sight for 2006’s biggest club track.

Several other hot remixes and original productions are in the pipeline for this prodigious talient, including the forthcoming single “Take no shhh…” produced under Fedde’s “F.L.G. presents Flamingo Project” moniker. This amazing track will be released by Defected sub label Fluential with some amazing re-edits/remixes.

Fedde maintained a healthy obsession for music from an early age, first immersing himself in House Music in 1994 after he heard Dutch house legend Dimitri playing in his home town of Utrecht. Using Dimitri and many other influences as inspiration, Fedde embarked on a professional DJ and production career and has never looked back.

He has released a stream of critically-acclaimed singles on labels including CR2, Toolroom, Defected, Influence, Work, Flamingo Recordings and Sander Kleinenberg’s Little Mountain Recordings. Fedde plays regularly all over Holland at the hottest venues, popular events and major festivals including Mysteryland (ID&T) and Extrema Outdoor. As resident and co-promoter of the successful Sneakerz (||: : SNEAKERZ : :||) club nights at credible and trendy clubs like Panama (Amsterdam), de Rechter (Eindhoven) and The Hague’s ‘t Paard, Fedde is a talent very much in demand.

Considered one of the most energetic and danceable DJs in the world, Fedde has toured the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Russia and Israel while early 2007 will see him take his sound to Australia, North and South America.

Fedde regularly appears as a guest on Radio 3FM’s leading “Minstry of Beats” show while his tunes are played on every dance radio station in the Netherlands and also receive extensive play on UK radio, including Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on Radio 1, long known as the premier purveyor of the freshest and most upfront club hits doing the rounds.
