Whats so hard about bringing PvD to Toronto compared to other big name djs?
:conf:

its been a mystery thats been in my head for a while, and I just remembered it.

I would like answers from ppl who work in the clubbing industry or anyone who is familiar with it.

thank you
Endlesswave
I know people in the industry but they aren't booking agents for the club. Or if they are I hardly see or talk to them. (ahem Itikia :P)

What's the deal w PvD not coming to TO?
Skipper
From what I hear, he's a big princess.

He came 2x in 2001, then once in 03, although he WAS going to come in 02...but didn't b/c of ing sars. I'd say a dj that got a booking once a year isn't bad. Besides, he goes and plays in NYC every few months...why not here?
Skipper
Because we have SARS, obviously!
Endlesswave
Lol Yes we have Sars. Still. I heard from Del about his last gig here he basically got the boot when he wanted to play a bit more from the club in a way that was 'not so nice', meh, if that's the only reason then he should learn to suck up stupid like that.

Sasha is in Montreal in March, so it will hopefully be a possibility. He hasn't been here in a long time. If I am correct (nor sure though) it hasn't been since the chaos on the Skybar. :eyes: :(

Paul doesn't seem to frequent any place in Canada besides maybe Vancouver so its not just limited to Toronto. The rumor i had heard back in the day was that he had some billing issues with the Guvernment but i think its more complicated than that.

In any case, if you want to catch Paul in North America, then New York City is the place. Where else beside Berlin do you get to hear him spin for 6 hours.

Yes, and he rips Roseland Ballroom and Central Park in NYC apart!!
