Moving To Oz.Where Is Good To Live?????

I have decided that im gonna move from Ireland to Oz sometime this year.I'd like somewhere with nice beaches,nice weather,nice people and good clubs which get big name DJ's.Im 21 and work as a Tiler so i need somewhere which won't be hard to get work.So where is nice to live which would suit me best?

anywhere in OZ is nice tbh.....but since you're after a decent nightlife, I would recommend Melbourne or Sydney....DO IT!

As a tradie you should be able to find work pretty much anywhere quite easily. I know that in Adelaide you should find it easily for good money.

If nightlife is really important, Sydney or Melbourne (I'd say Melbourne). However Adelaide and Perth do also get some big names (but miss out on a few that go to Melbourne and Syd), and I assume Brisbane is similar. Perth's also really remote if you want to go to other cities.

I'd suggest Melbourne, its a place I always enjoy visiting. Adelaide's a nice place to live, but its a bit quiet.

Gold Coast/Brisbane has something of an ongoing housing boom, warm, sunny, nice beaches, 2hr flight by jet to Sydney, 3-4 to Melbourne.
Wouldn't go to Melb if you're after beaches, but it has some fairly good night life, Sydney has bits of both and good beaches but its a bit expensive to live.
Sort out a job before you come over though might be an easier way of getting a visa too.

I'd recommend you to come to Perth but we have no houses for sale and no nightclubs.

Sydney is great but is a bit expensive.

Melbourne is good too but the weather is a bit bad.

Brisbane is getting much better but it's still nowhere near the standard of the two big ones.

I wouldn't recommend any other cities, but that's just me.

One of the better local beaches in Melbourne would probably be Chelsea.
Apart from that you can't go wrong on the Great Ocean Road.

Gold Coast is beautiful, if you want to laze around on the beach all day and do nothing.

Melbourne number 1 party city, followed by Sydney.
