George Acosta & Eddie G @ Spirits, 2-9-07 review + pics

DarkAngel
After a week break from our weekly stint at Spirits, we came back to the full on trance night to more packed crowd at Spirits at the Hard Rock. Plus there were a LOT of blondes. :wtf: Didn't listen to Cato K's set. Simon Belmont and Castlevania IV prevailed against him once again. :stongue: :haha:

Edgar V, who usually starts A State of Mind, was out of town this time around, so Eddie G started the night off with some great melodic, vocal and prog trance with tracks that included:

Matt Hardwick vs. Smith & Pledger - Connected
Tiësto - Suburban Train

And a couple of other great tunes.

After him came George Acosta. His set tonight was a much newer set then what we've gone accustomed to listening to every week. Newer, better, NASTIER. I do remember him playing Daniel Kandi- Child which happens to be on my Valentine's Day promo mix lol but imagine my surprise when he played......

U2 - where the streets have no name (NU NRG remix)

TOO SWEET!!!!

To close the night, Eddie G went back up but I was feeling very sick by then so I bailed early. Great seeing Ivan, Nelson and Steve-O. Tons of girls last night at the Hard Rock. Hell, even a couple of girls from the hip hop room came to party in the main room. Pics of them though, I did NOT take. :nervous: Trust me when I say, it's better that way.

Until the next A State of Mind...

As usual before entering Spirits I took my nightly stroll with my PSP, some trance and Vicky. :toothless Got some very nice scenic shots of the Hard Rock entertainment complex exterior.

Inside:

nexusgroove doing his usual sick laser/light show.

More to come...

Check out this blonde. She had the biggest but fakest boobs. :wtf: Still a pretty hot bitch, though. I HAD to get shots of her. BBQWTFwafflecakes.

As always nice review DA.

And Tiësto - Suburban Train, I in love that tune. Did he play the original or Cosmic Gate remix (which is better IMO)?
