Skype conflicts with cuebase?

anyone else had issues with this?
My microphone is connected through a dj mixer (dm1200) currently (although this is changing as at thursday). IT was working fine and everything seems fine both inside and outside cuebase. After installing skype it no longer works (I think this is the issue)... Trikdadde and I have spoken and he had same issue.... |

| did you check your sound card's mixer whether the input channel is muted? (unmute it if it is) i don't own Skype but it sounds like there is an easy solution. also, check the "Sounds and Audio Devices" inputs/outputs in your control panel |

thanks guys - we trouble shot all this - no go - feck three days of not being able to work on anything bites the big one...oh well cya friday trik and others ;)
plus I will have to new gear to play with :) woot woot |
