I'm more than happy living just 35 miles up the road from there in my two bedroomed flat of similar size paying £450 pcm for my mortage and £440 per year council tax lol
granted, it may take me a little longer to move around london as i drive, but at least its door to door, i don't have to sit next to random drunk tramps, possible terrorists, idiots on the train and its actually cheaper than public transport inclusive of the congestion charge and parking. |

fuel is £1960 a year (49 weeks X £40) i drive a diesl astravan into london daily which is not only very economical but also enviromently friendly (modern diesals really do pwn petrol cars now)
I'm only in the congestion charge zone a couple of times a week and thats paid for by my company as is my parking expenses :) |

ok, there is that, but offset that against the cost of living in london.
Tax is £160 a year, my van is an 06 plate so no MOT to pay for, insurance for me on it is £170 a year fully comp, i service it myself every 6000 miles so its just price of an oil filter, air filter and oil once every 3 months or so, its not done enough miles yet for any major services which again i can carry out. |
