Does anyone know a type vst that contains all the essential/traditional acoustic/electric instruments? I'd like to use some guitar, strings and other random instruments in my productions and I used to use my Yamaha Motif for that but I sold it. I have my synths covered with my Ion and JP-8000 but i want to add some more natural sounds. Let me know. Thanks,

| Don't know that I'd recommend kontakt, its got a lot of stuff, but no individual string sounds, only ensembles. The guitars are good (but I play anyway) and there are a lot of drum loops, and synths, which is silly, why would you want synth samples? Just buy a synth! So overall, I don't think its the most efficient use of 16 gig. I also don't think there are that many FX sounds. If you want a great sampler then sure buy it, but expect to have to go and buy more samples as well. |

well its defiantly the most versitle sampler, but you're right the samples that ship with it won't totally fullfill his neads. the reality is though, NI does all those extra sound banks and drum specs to get more business. he can go buy a string sample cd and load it into kontakt |

| Emulator X, but you'd need Emu hardware to run it. |
