| i don't really understand what they are being charged with...i mean, reading the article, it just seems like they were running a business...whats the difference between what they did and when stores buy products from manufacturers and then sell the items for more, 'making a profit'? I mean, I wouldn't exactly call what Pure did stealing, at least not unless there is more we do not know. Being a law student, that article was entirely inaddequate. |

because it was over & above the profit that they acknowledged taking. They were mis-representing their costs. You can make whatever profit you want, but if that's based on a percentage of a cost, you can't mis-represent that cost. It'd be like a contractor telling you it cost twice as much as it did for parts.
EDIT: allegedly...& I hope not. |
