U CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER SMOKED.
i get no high/buzz from smoking.
there are just times where it feels right for me to smoke.
i dunno maybe it was cos i had a mother who smoked - then quit - then smoked again after my dad died.
or maybe it was cos all my mates smoked.
or maybe it was cos it was naughty and well i like naughty things..
I still dont know why i started.
in the end happens and u get an addiction - and an addiction is not an easy thing to break and should be respected as a part of who someone is.
according to the celestine prophecy i wont be accending to greatness in this life cos i smoke...
so there ya go - and in some strange way thats why i wanna quit - but even if i quit for 20 years and bumped into another smoker i wouldnt crack the s cos they sparked up a durrie in front of me. :| |

I thought the smoking laws were national, not governed by each state?
Obviously not. In NSW we've had that for 18 months already and in July, there will be no smoking inside, anywhere. Currently, gaming rooms are ok and an establishment must not have more than 25% of it available for smoking.
I love the new laws :D |

at your age you KNOW what it is going to do to you and that you can get addicted it. at school you were TOLD what the harmful effects are. you like naughty things? jump the fence to some grumpy old mans house and knick a garden gnome or something. your mates did it? so you have to do it to? you can't stand being apart from them and not smoking? if your mates said "hey jules we are going to run and jump off that cliff over there" you say "sweet! i'm in!"?? why can it feel right to smoke? if your mother did it then maybe that can be a part of it, i don't know much about genetics and if you can pick up a habit like that.
happens and you get addicted? well thats right happens and that's your and i won't respect it as part of who you are, or who anyone is. it feels good when i jerk off. sometimes maybe it feels right, it makes me happy for a litte while. i dont do it 5 times a day every single day. i don't get addicted to it. i won't believe that after one smoke you get addicted and it's all downhill from there. if your body gets used to that substance and starts craving it when you don't have it then you must have been putting it in there for a while. maybe it is hard to break out of but if you let it get to that point well like you said happens.
if you want to light a cigarette well fine go ahead. i will get pissed off if i want to that someone does it in front of me because i don't want to inhale your toxic . |
