Nova's probly the best commercial station Melbourne's had. Its still a pity Kiss didn't get the licence. Bust as for tunes becoming commercial - I think thats bull.
A tune can start off commercial if it was created to appeal to a wide teeny-bopper audience, by compromising musical quality for wider appeal. If a song is a good tune than in my mind it will always be a good tune, even if a commercial radio station plays it. If it becomes popular and gets played over and over I'll probly get sick of it, but in my mind it will still be a good track. |

| hmmmmmmm...if the audience was for trancers originally but if the radio stations got hold of it and it sells like mad and is totally overplayed and u get sick of it then thats okay.......as long the artist doesn't keep making tracks just for the radio, music should be made for enjoyment and the love of it not on the basis of money gimme more, oh in perth no nova fm so ummm yeah :o |

Yeah I love it too!
But it's depressing to hear on the radio because then it means all these other people will be going round saying "i heard this great new track" etc etc
And besides, I would much rather be outside the mainstream than part of it. It bugs me to see gullible kids listening to the same thing that everyone else is listening to, simply because everyone else likes it. That's what I mean by depressing. |
