ohh the negativity astounds me!!!!
Congratz Steve, you deserve the gig mate, you have busted your balls for years and you deserve every gig you are getting, i agree with others on Steve may opening, then armin then strangis, but hey MJ runs the show, and he wants to play at the event.
If you guys were in MJ's position, would you want to open the event or give the gig to someone else seriously??? ofcourse you would give youself the gig |

i'd call him worthy if he actually has done something worthwhile in the past three months, let's say. big ing deal if he got a godskitchen mix cd out. its not that good of a mix anyway. and when was the last time strangis got a promo mix out, let's compare it with steve may's recent mix and i dare you to say that wasn't a good slamming trance mix!
support strangis all you want, but i'd rather support someone who is worthy of my $$ and support. :)

ummm
not sure whats going on here
but seeing that steve has gone from playing 45 min sets at 4am to 5 people, to supporting armin at multiple gigs and now closing after him, and having a dj mix compilation released under godskitchen, surely he has done something worthwhile somewhere along the line
big ing deal he has a mix compilation with godskitchen? well of course its a big ing deal. every person who buys turntables wants to make it to some degree. having the opportunity to get a mix compilation released with godskitchen is a massive deal. that is really a pretty stupid statement.
maybe he hasnt done a promo mix lately...ive never seen you do a promo mix gerry. clearly this means you will never be worthy of my support. if steve may should be on the line up instead of strangis then complain to mark james. clearly strangis has such supreme power that he can dictate the linup of an armin 6 hour event.
i dont know if you have a personal problem with strangis or something, but i think he is worthy of support simply due to him being able to make it to a degree, going from djing at times with no crowds to making it to events like this.
steve may is equally worthy of support after getting productions signed to labels like armada and cold harbour. so he isnt on this lineup? oh well happens hey. papa smurf played before j00f at slinky last year. he shouldnt have been on that time. that doesnt mean he isnt worthy of support. |
