| The best way to clean your guitar is with a warm, damp cloth. This will remove harmful chemicals. Your guitar is coated in the highest-grade finish available and is sensitive. Any type of solvent, especially those found in plastic, vinyl and leather straps, will mar the finish, as will alcohol, citric acid, aftershave lotion, insect repellent, and a number of related substances. Perspiration can also damage your guitar, so keep it dry. To polish it, use the special Martin polish and a clean Martin polishing cloth. We recommend wiping down your instrument and strings with a soft, dry cloth before storing to remove harmful skin oils. Products containing silicone should not be used. |

that's exactly where i got it from :p I used to work in a shop selling instruments & we never used any sort of chemical on any of the guitars, infact tended just to dust them regularly |

Seems like you really like making things hard for yourself.

Pluck out each string, pee on it and whipe it in your ass crack. The ass hair will do a wonderful job.
Don't forget to take a dump once you are done with the cleaning. :o |

| i use guitar polish and i get a special rubbign oil for the back of the neck, helps your hand slide better. i give it a thorough cleaning wehn i re-string, usually once a month... for my electric, once a year i give it a really good cleaning and go over the fret board with polish and qtips, then use a small buffing wheel on my dremmel on the frets. keeps them nice and smooth. |

go buy a polish kit, there are like 5 different polishes to apply to it if you want to keep it in pristine shape. I use the Dunlop kit.
