Seems to me like there lot of devout Sony fans for whatever reason who keep whining about a so called "Anti-Sony fad".
Stop crying, Are you serious?
It's not a fad, it's fact:
* Sony blew the PS3 launch.
* The unit is exorbitantly overpriced for allegedly superior hardware that is not all that impressive so far.
* The launch lineup was terrible.
* It's blatantly obvious that the Blu-Ray is just another ploy by Sony to get ANOTHER of their proprietary formats into your living room. *cough UMD*
Come on. These are FACTS. This is not a fad. Sony you ed up big time. |

althought i do agree those points are valid
just want to say congrats on reiterating the same facts in another thread
what was the point of this again? and because people don't agree does that mean each other is crying because if you look at it from my point of view, what the hell are you crying about the same facts that everyone has been spitting out? Get over it...
yea kinda like what everyone is saying to the people who defend Sony.

see, already you're thread crapping man. so what, let the guy be. this is his thread. this is his point. this is what he wants to convey to other people. can't you just let it be? why play down on his point? why does it fire you up every time someone posts an anti ps3 thread? care to explain that? its because you're a fan boy to sony and you can't take it. come on man, stop the bullting, first reply from you and its already gonna screw up this whole thread. oh, and if thats not instigating than i don't know what is. |

1. If Sony blew their launch, then MS blew the 360 launch too, since they both were practically identical in performance. Except PS3's were being sold for MUCH higher on eBay and the media converage was far greater (due mostly to events such as the attempted robbery at that one wal-mart)
2. Believe me, the PS3 is NOT overpriced. Maybe its overpriced from a gamer's perspective, but it is not overpriced as an item. Sony is giving you a ing bargain with the they are packing under that hood. Plus, you cant expect to be blown away with the games when its first released. Wait a year or two for developers to really understand the systems architecture so they can harness its abilities to make better looking games. And I hear if you have a 1080 HDTV...blu ray looks noticeably better than DVD.
3. All launch lineups were terrible. The 360's top game during its launch was a PC PORT. Plus I hear Resistance is better than anything the 360 had to offer during its first few months on shelves.
4. This is hard to argue, since it is true that Sony tries to get people into buying their exclusive formats to make them more money. But then again, blu-ray is superior to anything thats out there. Its better than HD-DVD. What I dont understand is why developers arent offering absolute overwhelming support it when we know its the best. With the whole high definition craze going on, we wouldnt be able to last much longer on DVD...it was only a matter of time before something new came along. |

If the PS3 still exists in two years, I may pick one up.
But graphics aren't everything, and creating a unique processor like sony was absolutely retarded.
As for as the ps3 not being worth the money it is for a console, but being worth this kind of money as an 'item' implying that it is a blue ray DVD player as well, heres another Item that probably costs lots of money and has a bunch of you don't need.
