hello all... trying to aquire some info on how to transfer my mp3's to my ps3. I have made several mp3 discs over the years, and it seems that the ps3 recognizes some of them but not all of them. I was just wondering if any of you have run into this problem as well. Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps its the way or program that I used to make the mp3 discs?
thx. |

There shouldn't be any problems, as far as I know.
Have you checked the GameFAQs or NeoGAF forums regarding this topic? |

| I just popped in my ipod and transferred all of the stuff on there. If you use an mp3 player that has it's own database (like the ipod) you need to have it show the directory structure with that view all option or whatever. Then just use triangle on the entire music folder and it copies properly, everything is organized etc etc |

| oh just saw you meant mp3 discs, in that case it should be even more straightforward because it should read them as data cds. |

Yea, I was talking about dvd-r and cd-r. Like I said, it recognizes some of the discs and some it doesn't. I think it has to do with the filename length. If there is one track that exceeds a certain amount of characters, the ps3 says there are no tracks on the entire disc. very strange.
--sup tim. everything is good. hope all is well with you. |
