| I picked up a pair of these because i was on a serious budget. I have found the bass on them is very muddy even for kicks. Is this a fault with my pair or all HPX4000's? |

It is because Behringer products are bad.
I'm honestly not trying to sound like a troll, but that's as good of an answer as I can give. You bought a Behringer product. Enough said :o |

Every Behringer product I've ever owned has worked properly, but the fact is its simply... less good.
You get what you pay for when it comes to DJ stuff. |

| The only product of theirs I've used and still reccomend is the Truth line of monitors. |

| I totally understand that they wont be good quality. Its just they are really really muddy. I mean more muddy then a very cheap pair of headphones or earphones. I knew they wouldnt be very good quality but seriously not this bad. |
