Wetherspoons pub in my town: £1 all pints. £1 all bottles.
Wetherspoons pub prices I saw in London: cheapest pint £1.80 :eek: Quite a few pints over £3! :eyes:
As for clubs: Newcastle you can get all-you-can-drink for £8 at a nightclub on thursdays, £9 all-you-can-drink on Fridays, 20p a pint on Mondays and 10p a bottle on Wednesdays <---all clubs too.
You can wait for years and you'll never see prices half as good as those in London :(
London does seem to have a strong garage scene too. I suppose I shouldn't complain, it keeps them out of these parts. |

And believe me you should be happy to pay in £ cos formerly when you had to convert your french franc to pay £ in London, it was as if your wallet had slimmed during the trip to London.
London is damnly expensive, but full of joy...
