| I don't think This Binary Universe was composed with clubs in mind tbh. Just my opinion though. |

Nah I've just been away too long :p
But seriously, Anomyst for bagging Hybrid. If you want to rag on something rag on bt's new album, some tracks are decent for listening, but club playable? lol no chance. |
ive always seen ben to be a bit of hybrid fanboy if ya ask me :D ive seen him chuck a few hybrid remix tracks into his sets
But yes, BT has changed his style alooooottt... I love BT, ooooj fan, but i noticed a big change in his production when he released emotional technology in 2003... what happened to the days of flaming june, godspeed, mercury & solace ??? :eyespop: i still foam over those tracks |

it's because the guy's a cockmonkey hell bent on writing stuff that isnt 'trance'. he and paul van dyk seem to both be in denial that they ever wrote 'trance', which is funny. bt calls it 'electrically charged music geared at a dancefloor' or something (read that in an interview.. and he said he plans to write another album of this kind).. we'll see when though :)

i feel bt has really taken the fine art of 'chin stroking' to a new level.
fark, if his older tunes weren't trance, what's today's trance? hard house?
