| I have not been in a while. Great place in the summer time when the weather is great. Winter is a little drab there. Got taken over by new owners and I have heard mixed reviews about it since them. What kind of music are you into? They have two different areas, a hip-hop room and a "dance" music spot. The dance music area plays hip-hop/EMD mashup most of the time. If you are looking for EDM, trance and house, there are better spots around town, IMO. |

yeah, i dont think such a beast exists in atlanta haha
as far as setup and appearance goes, id say compound is pretty european, but as far as vibe/people/music, it's just the same as any other hiphop/see-and-be-seen club in atlanta really
id check out lava lounge in midtown, small place, but decent music, especially on thursdays. maybe check out hush too, i guess they have weeklies on eithr friday or saturday? chris could tell you more :p
honestly, not too many great clubs in atlanta though, id say youre better off spending your time and money in some of the great restaurants and bars, check out little five points, virginia highlands, and maybe some bars in midtown :thepirate |

| A lot of the people that ran Vision are at Compound now, as far as I can tell. That back room that used to play trance or EDM is now just hip hop or those train wreck 80's rock ballad mixes. There's really no reason at all to go to Compound except that it's easy to get in for free. |
