New PC Troubles

Hey, quick question to those who can help me. I just bought a new PC and It came with a realtek soundcard, on my old pc I used to produce and everything was flat on my sennheiser HD280 pros, now, when producing on my new PC, I get alot of bass, the problem is that I turn it down on the control panel and it still sounds bassy nonetheless, I want to produce flat :(

I don't know if there are any programs that can just eq my pc settings down to flat again, so I can hear everything without overkill in bass.

realtek? what's that an integrated pile of junk?

Exactly, I need to know how to get rid of the unwanted bass boost. :)

Save up 200 bones and just get a better sound card first.

The noise you get from your powersupply and fans in onboard audio chips is enough to make your head explode.

Try making your hardrive spin up. Or change a fan speed, and have the volume up very high. You'll hear all sorts of spits sputters whines and wizzes.

Those kind of artifacts are UNACCEPTABLE. Do yourself a favor. Buy a new audio card.
