Great bass drum. Eerie atmospheric pads. nice bass...
The Sample you got in there is groovy. It goes for 50 seconds though, & you play it three times! the first time it played it was interesting; it goes well with the dark atmosphere of your track. The second & third time the sample plays it doesnt do much for me. I prefer to hear some more of those trippy synths than hear a repetitive sample, that just my personal opinion.
The echo effect (ping pong) seems to be used for everything...
I like the break at 4:30, the sample goes well with the low monk choir pads.
4:40 :eyespop: awesome! Lots of drive & energy. It's missing the mid range. Maybe you can add another synth in & fill in the frequency gap. The patterns is cool. Id like to see it progress more or have another different sounding synth come in to spice it up more.

Been a long time since I ran about in here, eh?
I like the angry sample in the opening.
Very deep bassline. Nice.
2:59 is sweet. I like the sample break before it.
I love the melody that starts in at 4:47. The work with the pitch modulating is really trippy, and the playing with delay is a nice touch. The FM tweaking is also fun.
I like the env mod on the bass at the end. It gives it such an organic sound. |

Very mysterious and dark. Man that kick is high pitched it's insane.
I love this gunk. The gated pad is excellent, and the vocals well chosen (even though I haven't seen the movie, yet). The effects are mint, and the bassline is so friggen deep.
Powerful use of vocal distortion.
What a sweet porta-lead there. It's mean and nasty. What a brain-twister, I feel like my mind is in a meat-grinder (you can quote me on that).
What a cool breakdown. It was resolved nicely with the psy-leads and other mind-bending sonic mayhem. Excellent use of ring-y stuff on the synths there.
The gates are back... wow, this track is so well mixed and the arrangement is very pro.

Thanks guys, though I really gotta thank Cybernetica (where ever you may be), he inspired my very much to try and do dark psy trance.
Yeah, i know I repeat that sample a lot, but I just like it so much.
I'm gonna try to get this on a psy CD comp. I need to think of a good label to send this to. |
