It has been a long road to the top for drum 'n' bass DJ/Producer maverick Dieselboy. After years spent pushing the U.S. drum 'n' bass scene forward and making a name for himself, it's easy to imagine that Dieselboy would want to step back and bask in his well earned success. But this is not the case. because for Dieselboy, it is the continual test that is the inspiration. Seeking out and approaching challenges head on, Dieselboy has taken it upon himself to tear down the walls that isolate music genres as well as expand the worldwide acceptance of drum 'n' bass as a whole and American-produced d'n'b in particular. A part of the stateside electronic movement from the very beginning, Dieselboy is hailed as one of the Founding Fathers of American drum 'n' bass. His passion for the music and his rigorous touring and production schedules have earned him a slot in that upper pantheon of DJs able to perform to enthusiastic audiences the world over.

Over the last few years, Evol Intent has emerged as one of the leading forces in the global Drum and Bass movement. Both as a label and as a production trio, Evol Intent are considered some of the biggest up and coming talents in the entire dnb industry. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia the crew consists of Knick, Gigantor and The Enemy. Apart from being a production outfit, Evol Intent also owns and operates their own label, which functions as an outlet for their own work as well as like-minded artists. They have had releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Human Imprint, Outbreak Records and of course, Evol Intent Recordings and they have many plans for both their own label and others as well. 2006 has been a huge year with the release of the first Evol Intent EP, debuting on Renegade Hardware, as well as countless releases on their own Evol Intent Recordings imprint and having been nominated for Best Breaks/DnB Track at the International Dance Music Awards for their track "Street Knowledge" from the Police State EP.

MC J-MESSINIAN

Born in Los Angeles, California, J-Messinian (James Fiorella) bounced around the country nomad-like, eventually ending up in Philadelphia in the late 90's. As a child growing up, James developed a love for MC'ing: head-nodding to HipHop in oversized headphones and engaging in freestyle 'ciphers' with other "staircase artists". His formative musical roots ranged from Soul, to Hip Hop, to Latin percussion and Dancehall, to his mother Helena's emotional piano and guitar sessions. Presently, he can be seen and heard MC'ing around the country (and around the globe) alongside Dieselboy, AK 1200 and Dara, both within the collaborative framework of POTD and performing with each of the three superstar DJs individually. Messinian's enthralling stage presence and dope-ass rhymes speak to the fervid Drum and Bass audience from the stage and beyond. ."
