I have to ask if anyone else besides me is going to JP at Pacha tonight? A couple of old friends are coming out of retirement for this. I know 99.9% of you hate him but I have always enjoyed a JP theme party. So i was just curious to see if anyone else is going to chance this.

Really?

Well I have to say that I am so glad that I went to see JP. He has totally become a diffewrent DJ then he was. A change for the better. Not going to elaborate too much but I got there at 11. I wound up closing Pacha out at NOON. He was that GOOD. from 11P to 1 AM he was so/so, like the JP from Factory. from 1Am on he was a complete MIND F_CK!!!! He played some deep/dark dirty styff with awesome bassline's. He played some Electro as well. At times he was very reminicient of Danny Howells(when Danny gets into that hard part of his set). It was a great time and I am glad that I went. You really should give him another chance and go see a show. He's not the same as Factory. Much better now! See for yourself.

Yeah I hear ya, but the crowd was NOT the typical Guido's that we all have known to be a JP. Yeah there were some, but no where near the amount that use to go. And it wasn't even a sausage fest! Quite a few BEAUTIFUL LADIES(which JP always seemed to bring out) Maybe 60% - 40% which is a damn good ratio!! It may have helped that it was a 21 + party. But I really was totally impressed by the music and the whole night in gereral. I won't be missing many JP parties if he continues on the same route that is on, and that route is continuing to get better.

well, i dont know if hes improved from whenever you saw him last, i think its more of a case of being on and off.... i saw him at his Halloween party last year, i thought he was pretty good/decent... saw him a few months later at Copa, worst set i heard in my life... maybe its the Halloween theme that makes him bring the good hard music.... as far as the crowd, the JP Halloween parties always have a very interesting and FUN (and hot girl) crowd, ill give them that... go to a regular party and youll take back your previous statement haha
EnigmaT
I was suppose to go, but had to work. The theme parties are always alot of fun. It's not always about the music or the crowd, but is about going out and having a good time with friends.
