so now that tiesto dropped to number 3 on the dj mag poll, are the tickets still worth $310??

i paid $80 to see him here in LA and thought that was too much, can't believe there are people out there willing to pay that much. to each his own i guess. hope his set is better than is was out here. have fun. my sister will be attending this show.

I've heard rumors that Ticketmaster is still holding tickets and will offer them the day of the event at the gate.

Is this true?

I've seen tickets our there for almost $300 each....this is insane!

Devin - did you guys think this was going to be such a huge success?

Ticketmaster has 100 tickets set aside but those are for our guest list. If say we use 80 of those 100 on our guest list then we will sell the other 20 at the door.

As far as success, i knew after seeing 400 tickets go in the first two days on sale that this would sell out way before hand. The last time i saw tickets sell this fast was for Liquified Universe 1 where we sold out 8000 tickets a week before the show.

As much as I am anxiously awaiting Tiesto here, I do think the ticket prices are getting outrageous. But then again, as you so perfectly put it...to each his own :)

I remember when he played NYC a few years back and you could get a VIP ticket for less than $200 so when you compare that to the simple Atlanta show, you have to start questioning the prices.

But hey, as long as there is a demand (and there is), the prices will keep going up. I bought 7 tickets @ $30 each. Now I wish I would have bought about 10 more and could have been making some money :)

By the way...who is your sister?

she doesn't post but she loves the music. she was there for jOOf, AVB, steve lawler and several other shows. her name is joy. some of the atlanta TA's met her last christmas when i was home and they had a little get together before lawler at 1150. hopefully some good shows will be happening while i'm home for christmas.
