HELTER SKELTER
-------------------------------------

HELTER SKELTER @ DREAM NIGHTCLUB
OPENING NIGHT 28 OCTOBER 2006

Bursting forth from beneath the surface a unique late night experience arrives set to shatter the monotony of traditional clubbing while breaking all the rules of convention. Enter stage left, "Helter Skelter."

The format: a diverse combination of live bands downstairs while upstairs resident DJ's Compound, Dee Dee, and Kalus explore the outer limits of driving, funky, edgy, and havin' it dance music - with both rooms complEmented by appealing visual dynamics.

The first weeks bands comprise post-rock stalwarts, "International Karate", hard-hitting modern adventurers "Telecom", and "Dog With Wheels" let off the leash at last.

Moving into Week 2, "Electric Mary" play it loud, hard, and with no rules; "Hot Little Hands" add a little sugar & spice, then all-round nice guys "Stardiner" take their seat at the table for the last supper.

Avoid the pitfalls of predictability & prepare to turn on, tune in, and drop out at Helter Skelter @ Dream Nightclub.

Haha. I did a laptop set at Dream this year for the Deakin Uni Queer Ball in August. Awesome club, and I love the random poles situated around the club, hopefully they're still there after the renovations. Definatly a night I might check out I think...
