Ferry Corsten @ Myth Nightclub, MN (October 10, 2006) + Vids and Pics

It was my third of seeing Ferry Corsten, and the second time in this year. As same as last time I went to Minnesota, I went with my friend Mersad. We left 3:23 pm. The weather was cold and very cloudy. After 15 minutes drving, Mersad told me it's going to snow and rain together tonight. It made me nervous, becasue we had to come back right after the show for our class in the morning. Also I was affraid if it snows we get an accident or we get stuck in the road. So Mersad called his brother, and he said that is going to snow and rain, also a storm will hit our city. It already started raing but it was very light. After an hour rain stoped, and road was good to go. About 6:30 p.m. we had to stop by at Burger King to eat something, becasue both of us are muslim and it's ramadan, so we were fasting and it was time to EAT!

Then we hit the roads again and got there tight about 8:45pm. We already bought the tickets online, so we just had to wait 15 minuts to get in there. At 9 pm, we and 5 or 6 other people were behind the doors, butJack Trash, a local DJ, came out and told us they'll open the doors at 10pm! So we were so on time and early there! Mersad started reviwing for his Organic Chemistry exam and I srtated walking around. Thena bout 10 pm it was kind of a big line, but they still haven't opened the doors. They just checked th ID's. It was freaking cold and a little bit windy, which it sucked.

When we got there, there were 2 DJs palying, their style was Elctro or Electro House. Then the second DJ came about 11:15 pm, his style was house. He played Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit. However, he edited the middle of the song, which instead of saying Detriot, it said "Minneapolise," it was funny! Not most of the style were my style though. At beginging of the second DJ,a friend of mine from Minni, Brock, came there and that made me happy. I also have another friend, Andrey, but I lied to him that I'm not coming. I sent a text message to come in very front, and when he saw me he got excited. He was with his cousin, Sergei, and his girlfriend, Jodi.

Anbout 12 pm, it was time for...FERRY CORSTEN! Man I was so excited, he started the set Cassandra Fox - Touch Me In The Morning (Mike Koglin vs. Jono Grant Mix), which was very HOT! The club was full or almost full fer FERRY CORSTEN. The crowd went mad when he played BT - Simply Being Loved (Somnabulist) (Mark Norman Remix) and after that Ferry Corsten feat. Simon LeBon - Fire (Ferry Corsten's Flashover Mix). I loved it when after that he played "Prison Break," such nice track to be played at clubs. Then again crowd went crazy when he played "Galaxia." After that he played Super 8 - Get Off (Original Mix), and then Filo & Peri feat. Kathleen Fisher - Ordinary Moment (Breakfast Remix). It made me so f@cking happy, it was freaking awesome when he dropped those tunes. After that he played one of the best tunes of this year, "River Of Light, Eternity, And Beyond" by Breakfast. Andrey was waiting for this. Man that was freakign good, this song took me so high. No, I wasn't on drugs or drunk. i didn't even drink becasue I had to drive again and I hate to use drugs and I don't like to drink in concerts or festivals. Andrey suddenly pick me up, and I was face to face to Ferry Corsten

. Next was "Beautiful," which Brock and I went so crazy for this song. Then he started going to his Electro style with Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary. Then Cara Dillon & Peter Divine - Black Is The Colour (Coco & Green Remix), Ferry Corsten - L.E.F., Azzido Da Bass - Dooms Night (Ferry Corsten Re-Edit of Timo Maas Remix), Ferry Corsten feat. Guru - Junk (Ferry Corsten's Flashover Mix). Only 2 hours of Ferry Corsten, which was short. He played Ferry Corsten feat. Simon LeBon - Fire (Extended Mix) for the encore. I knew Mersad would love it, he likes "Fire" so much.

After those it was time to get some signiture! During the show, Ferry Corsten gave me thumbs ups and drew a heart for me several times, and after the show, he shook hands with me couple time and told me "I'm so happy to see you again man," which it made me my night freaking happy! Andrey gave my CD earlier to Jack Trash to get it signed and he did it. Andrey also took a friend of mine's picture and gave it to Ferry Corsten. It was so freaking funny to see Ferry Corstend sign her picture and the funny look he had on her picture. Then I started screaming "Who's number one?", and everyone one was answering "FERRRRRY," that freaking AWESOME. I just wish he played Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston - Good For Me (Darren Tate Remix) and ID - T.D.O.T.. the sound quality of the club was really, also the dnacers were freaking HOT! There were too many hot chics though.

Then it was time for us to get back, another 5 hours driving then we had school! Mersad helped me to read maps and take the right exits. Then he took some nap and again helped me. It was raining but not hard, and there was no snow, which it was grea. We ate soemthing before sunrise to fast for the new day!

We got home 7:27am. Mersad right away left to his University, and I went to put pictures and videos on my PC and get ready for college.

At the end I have to thank Mersad for coming with me and helping me to read map. Thanks to Andrey fro getting me the signitures and picking me up, lol. Thank to brock to make the night even better.
