Hey everyone,

I am new at the forums here. I mean I've been reading them for months but havent really participated.

Looks like you guys are an awesome community.

Well now that i have introduced myself...here comes the question.

While I was at the LOL 2006 i was listenin to armin's set and then i needed to go out for a smoke. I ended up in the tent and heard some of the sickest beats ever. It was Tommie Sunshine. Never heard him before and thought he was amazing.

So now ive been trying to find some of his sets, but ive had no luck.

Anyone here know where i can find anything? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You!

I've heard a few things from Tommie Sunshine before LOL and when I heard he was at LOL that was the only reason I went....him and Benny B. I will see if I can locate any of his sets.
Endgame
He absolutely kicked my ass at LOL, very unexpected - and his stage presence is good too..
How would you describe (genre-wise) what he played that night? Cuz it seemed like a fusion of psy and house and electro-house kinda? [note: I'm very bad at classifying genres]

Normally people classify him as a Techno DJ but IMO I think it is impossible to actually classify DJs to a certain genre nowadays

Tommie Sunshine - I have seen him at 222 richmon don the roof top patio - which I think is now closed - or very soon will be due to the chilly ass weather!

But he was awesome, check him out there next year!

it was soo good, that i didnt go back to armin..
electro funk
i think the best way to describe his style is techno punk/electro funk

and almost like the old surf music from the 60's with a house twist

The Highroller
I liked his shirt:

"WILL FOR COKE" in big huge letters, lol.
