To answer your inquiry, Mr.Tyas's current schedual only
includes Victoria BC. However this can change at any
time pending proper arrangements with local promoters.

dont forget airfare (first class), hotel (4+ stars), food, this that and you're looking at so much money, even being a very determined business student you will probably not be able to pull this off
oh and if you're thinking of a place like the pne, you'll need even more money
so, really, twisted and solid are pretty much the only two companies in the city that can actually afford to bring in DJs of armin's caliber |

I didn't bitch over and over again.. I guess i am the only one saying that Plush sucks around here soundwise right? Like I said.. nobody will listen to us.. and you guys can't afford commodore most likely so.. hey.. "let's do it at some club with ty sound.. it will still sell out so who cares" ... I scalp tickets for your shows and get in for free anyways... I would not have paid even $40 to hear the extra loud bass even with earplugs on. eh.. whatever.. promoters don't care :D

+1 for Plush being overall a ty place.
I went there a few weeks ago for Bassnectar. It was a really interesting crowd, Burning Man kinda feel. Anyway, everyone was having huge fun, a bit too much for security liking so they decided to secure the front stage area a little bit better. Lorin noticed it and went on the mic and told the security to go away. That why I respect the man that much.
As long as Plush shows going to sell out like that (or actually oversell) they're going to stay there. Why fix something that's not broken (from the monetary standpoint)? |
