my suggestion which is do-able: let other dj's in vancouver have some involvement in the night. it can only help not hinder. the more involvement the better. so who really cares now? take it outside the box (of Vancouver city limits). things really are different out there - i know this first hand - change and variety are good things as are open minds.

and fine i'll get outta this thread. thats my 2 toonies though. cheers.

What I've always found strange is the lack of involvement of local trance DJs in Vancouver in the scene. Don't see them supporting shows and rarely see them out unless it's a show they are playing at.

Hey guys.

lisa made a good point.

We were thinking of involving other locals soon. But we want to pick the right people.

Jussed has a point as well.

I havent been out to many shows recently (there were 5 in a row at the end of december but none but my night since then). But i have been out to alot in my lifetime.

I dont drink, and i get tired easy now, my friday nights are always booked, and ive become pretty picky.
I dont like prog. I wont see chabel or porter or howells or burridge. For that reason my attendance at vivid events has been limited.

My next party appearance will be at Kiss, I think 4 strings puts on a great show, and i love live acts.

On Another note:

Everyone come down this wednesday, Sean I bet is going to have another wicked set (good call on that Rank 1 track and Strange World last week dude, AWESOME) Jimmy and I should have a nice treat ready for then, and I hope to play a little more progressive then I have been playing for the last few weeks. Hope to see everyone down there. Cheers

it is very hard to attract people to something like this during a week night (I've also seen a lot of established clubs in Vancouver on the same night which barely get anyone coming out, even on a top 40 night which is supposidly a no brainer for a promoter to get people in mass groups to come down...Does that mean the hip hop scene in Vancouver blows? No, because the main nights, when it matters, Friday and Saturdays, they pretty much have the place packed like a can of tuna).

didn't i basically say this at the top of page 7? :stongue: :haha:
