Fei-Fei – “LA's superstar trance and techno sweetheart” has made her mark and is only rising higher. She plays a very active part of the west coast scene with regular gigs for Spundae, Godskitchen, Heaven, and her residency at Club RED. She has shared the stage with Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Christopher Lawrence, Blank & Jones, John 00 Fleming, Marco Carola, and George Acosta, as well as numerous tag-team sets with Eddie Halliwell.
She was recently featured in an article in L.A. CITY BEAT proclaiming her one of "LA's Top Female DJs" alongside such established names as DJ RAP, IRENE, and REID SPEED, she also recently did a mix for Ministry of Sound Radio, Power 106FM (LA's highest rated dance music show-Power Tools), Grooveradio (the #1 internet station for electronic dance music), and Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as her monthly show on internet giant ETN.FM. Her first studio track Adrena with production partner Kris B (GU, Sunkissed, Grayarea, Hope Recordings) has already been well received by the music community, being featured on Mark Lewis & Interstate’s (Armada) playlists as well as her new track Tantrum, both being featured on Darren Tate and Mike Koglin’s Ministry of Sound Radio Show. Her productions deliver the same kind of hard driving beats that audiences have come to love in her Dj sets. Her highly anticipated CD release, was hosted by the world famous Avalon Hollywood where she performed with Scot Project.
No stranger to the world of music, she is also a classically trained pianist. Since graduating to the turntable as her instrument of choice, she has developed a sound all her own--an energetic mix of Trance, Techno, Progressive and anything else that gets in her way, dazzling audiences with her timing, key mixing skills and layer upon layer of beats and music.
Dedicated to learning all aspects of the entertainment business, she has worked for BPM Magazine and Moonshine Records making valuable industry connections. She is also currently a grad student at USC’s School of Cinema and Television, the nation’s most highly regarded film program, pursuing her Master of Fine Arts. She has directed several pieces, that have been well received in the festival circuits and has worked for industry giant Silver Pictures (Matrix, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, etc).
Rich talent and diversity are just the beginning for this star, she’s smart, cute and talented, and her love of music shines through every record she plays. When she’s not on stage, you’ll probably find her on the dance floor, lighting up the room with her infectious smile.
