She has been playing continuously since then across the land of Oz, at clubs, parties and festivals, to crowds of up to 14000. She has graced the stage along side acts such as Bjork, Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Timo Maas, Carl Cox and John Digweed, at events like the Big Day Out, Gatecrasher, Slinky and Utopia.
BeXta has held the title as Australia’s No1 female dj for a few years now, and earned a place in the top 5 Australian dj’s in a recent Australian poll. 2002 is BeXta’s year, as her demands as a producer and a dj are internationally in demand and so far there is no one complaining, just a lot of people dancing.
Kid Kenobi (Voted Australia's No.1 DJ/Sydney)
Jesse Desenberg aka Kid Kenobi has emerged as the standout DJ in the booming Australian breaks scene. With his consistently strong sets that cover the full spectrum of breaks he has become an essential prerequisite for any event being successful in Sydney. A talent that consistently makes the headline acts play a poor second fiddle, Kid Kenobi is Australia's breaks drawcard, a level headed star that should soon be seen proving his worth abroad.
Since the early days Kid Kenobi has covered much ground. Some of his gigs include: The Big Day Out, Vibes on a Summers Day, Tweekin, Ministry of Sound parties and numerous headlining spots in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast and Auckland.
As a DJ, Kid Kenobi likes to retain the eclecticism that made Green & Jazzy famous: new school electro and breaks, funky breaks, drum n bass, 2step, hip hop, trip hop, ambient electronica and house. "Although breaks is my forte, and always will be, the rush I get from music has always come from discovering fresh sounds", says the Kid, "I guess it all depends on when and to whom you're playing."

Hmmmmm.....
With Adam Beyer and Max Graham playing the night before, and Pappa and Clive Henry playing the night after, it's gonna be a tough choice. I really wish I had more money - it could be a bloody huge weekend otherwise. :-/
How the hell do you get to Kryal castle, PS? I'm pretty sure it's that place with all those wax torture figurines and stuff, yeah, but where about is it? Are they actually gonna hold the rave near the castle or what? |

Well the latest news is that ticket sales have been huge
but unfortunately the liquor license of the venue has been revoked so its now over 18's only.
The party is held inside the historic Kryal Castle nestled on the foot hills of Mt. Warrenhiep overlooking Ballarat. Its the best place ive ever been to for parties...
The castle has room for 7000+ people. |
