Man in serious condition following stabbing
Sunday, October 29, 2006 @ 1:50 a.m.
A man remains in serious condition following a stabbing that occurred at a party in a downtown hall early Sunday morning.
At 1:50 a.m., an injured 25-year-old male approached an EPS officer who was working special duty at an event at the Polish Hall located at 105 Street and Kingsway Avenue. The man had allegedly been stabbed during the party. After the incident occurred, he advised his girlfriend that he was hurt, then notified the special duty officer working at the party. The male was taken to hospital with serious injuries and was last listed in serious but stable condition. The rave was shut down and cleared to search for evidence, but nothing substantial was found. There were no witnesses and the victim was unable to provide information. The incident is still under investigation and there are no suspects at this time. |
