Hmm... randomness. :happy2: just small post before I hit they hay... sure it's long past my bedtime....
The night was a bit rough for me but I really enjoyed the end of my whole birday-trip-to-Van-Halloween-rave thing. Had some insane leg cramps. Did the whole strech... gatorade, water, rest thing 10x but still proceded to walk around like an old man for most of the night.... Damn... If only I'd done the whole Halloween thing I coulda dressed up as an old man and had myself a cane to ease my troubles!! Oh well guess too much pre-party shuffling at home in the last week is a bit to blame?!? Legs R fried! Man I can't stop watching those Melbourne Shuffler DVDs over aye... guess I get a track stuck in my head, throw it on... next think I realise I've danced away half an hour or more...:tongue2 wonder if the people in the hotel/condo windows opposite my place think I'm a freak?!? Ah well its okay... Coz I am a freak!! hehehe :stongue:
Damn am I rambin again? Um okay sumarrys of what made my night...
-Chatting with Sean Tyas.. thinking he was a local DJ/Solid Corporation organiser and a friend of my Victorian raver buddy (Shampoo) who was in heavy discussion with him. Taking goof off photos chattin bout records/raves/traveling whatever... then as he leaves I see Tyas on the back of his shirt.. and am like was that Sean Tyas?!?
(damn I had no idea!! Was surprised that he had been chatting with us about everthing, actually seems like a descent peroson.. Good stuff!! :))
-Walking back though Van city, Clear skies, watching the sunrise and seeing the mountains behind, though the skyscrapers. Wow! It was sunny and warm on my bus trip outta Van!!
-I wake up back in Whistler and damn theres snow all the was down the mountian to the village!! I get off the bus and theres snow on the trees and on the footpath!! What the!?!
-Oh and can't forget the bit about dropin by Starbucks after the rave... Dressed in raver gear both guys of us in sunnies at 7 in the morning. I gab a bottle of that Izzle, (sparkling blackberry - damn its good!!)a bottle of mango drink, and a Happy Planet fruit drink. The young girl at the counter is like "You want all of em?" I'm like yep! with a big smile on my face :toocool: and do you have bananas too? Then go back to look for more stuff... and grabbed a muslie and yogurt... I'm sure they could tell I was like a kid in a Candy store... and probably had a little fun last night:tongue2
- Oh and last random thing, chillin out exhastued and totally recked from my night (and walk across Van) ...reading the side of the Mango drink ...it says:
"SHAKE BEFORE DRINKING. You might also want to do a little chant if you feel up to it." :stongue:
Okay... peace fellow Trance Heads.... I'll try post up later on, a little on the party was and how it compared to some of the Aussie raves...
For now though
...time for a a Garfield style, sleep marathon :D |
