As far as I can hear, I think it is a multi saw pluck (not a supersaw) with boosted high end and mids and some stereo width.
It sounds to me very digital so I would try Vanguard, if I were you. |

| This is off the topic, but how do i go about learning the details of synthesis. I have vanguard, but I struggle with it big time and I know all the basics. What should I do next to learn, just keep messing around with it? |

imo vanguard is not the best synth to learn substractive synthesis. It has strange oscs and filters and weird functions that you will not find on other synths. Even sawtooths will not sound the same as with other synths. Don't misunderstand me, It can do some great sounds. To me, VStation is more understandable for a beginner, with more common features.
You should try to create 1 saw leads like the ones in estuera's songs. Then try to create by ears the 4string take me away lead and investigate with the filters enveloppes. Try lfo to modulate pitch a few, play with the rate. make the lfo modulate the amp. add noise...
just play around with some synths demos... |

It was just an advise because I think Vanguard is well designed to do some lead like these. Here is the result with FM7 and "some" external effects : http://perso.orange.fr/TranceDevotion/Bronz.mp3 |
