cheers for the help, hopefully i'll see some trance addicts there
I've made friends with a mate on my floor, and it turns out his well into the dance scene, so we're both headin to gatecrasher saturday. Also i spoke to a guy last nite in kingdom nightclub, who was wearing a vandit t shirt, so i thought i hav to speak to him, and his heading to gatecrasher saturday, so a few more faces i may recognise on saturday |

I know the Union had a UG night at the end of last month, Agoria and Lavelle i think can't remember was too busy writing my dissertation..
Im sure youve gathered that union has no other dance nights. Was never really sure what clubs really had a decent club night (trance mainly for me) apart from GC, at least if you want a fix it is more regular than it has been...and with JOOF coming on 11th November should be a deffo!
Not quite sure about other clubs like Adelphi or Pravda? in terms of what they play (that club has changed names more times than the years ive spent in sheff! lol) the other major clubs you wont get any decent trance music from what i have seen.
As your a Sheff newbie i would try out Planet Zogg, at plug next on 13th Oct i believe, especially if you want to don something rather extravagant lol (alas ive only been once, but will correct that this yr i hope). There are always threads about it so you wont miss it. |

Fez/Praavda has jsut been bought by a speed garage gangster. I don't hold out much hope for the nights that currently reside there.
Ug/ttc and the Plug are pretty much the only places where you'll likely to hear good dance music in sheffield.
incidentally, James Zabiela and Rolando headline next months Ug @ the union. That's a ing mammoth lineup. |
