It was a pretty good show. Ferry has never disappointed me and I definately got my money's worth. I also liked the fact that DJ stand was so close to the crowd - that definately adds to an atmosphere. However, there were a few things that sucked about that night:
1. I normally love KT's mixes, but last night's mix sucked as it was not very melodic. He did have some good tracks here and there, but over all - the tracks sucked. That still doesnt change the fact that he's a fantastic DJ
2. I also had a problem with a crowd. Some people acted oblivious and security is worthless. There was this one wasted broad at the beginning of the night that was all over guys up front. She was so wasted that she didn't even notice that I stock some random crap down her crack for s and giggles. I actually had to have a word with like 3 different people because they kept bumping into me and stomping my feet. There was an assclown that kept jumping around all over everybody. I had to yell at him. He moved away and started doing the same at a different place. He pissed off some other dude which almost resulted in a fight.
3. Staff of the club sucked too. As I mentioned - security should be fired (all of them). I think I also got ripped off at the bar, where I paid $5 for a bottle of water. And how could I forget the guy that did the visuals that were projected on the screen. I don't even remember how many times he messed up badly. I also don't understand why they waited till like 9:40 to start letting people in. When I inquired about it - I was informed that they are still setting something up. This is absurd. |
