Someone will need to clarify...but the Sega CD failed largely because of all the FMV games that invaded the market. ya know, the ones with movie graphics except for an animated gun cursor and a health bar.

And, Ill never forget the first time I played Duke Nukem 3D. All the nudity, blood, guts, swearing....I felt like such a rebel playing it. of course i was young.

No doubt it failed but personally I adored that system. Would play it for hours on end. Even though the FMV games killed it, they were still class to me. Especially Night Trap, which sparked so much controversy. I still have my Sega CD 32X version of the game. The best games for Sega CD had to be Working Designs' (may they now R.I.P.) line of RPGs. LUNAR, LUNAR: Eternal Blue, VAY and Popful Mail. I still have all of those as well. :o I really wish my Sega CD still worked. :sadgreen:
