Protesters demanding an end to conflict in Sudan's Darfur region are staging a day of demonstrations around the world. Activists are rallying in several capital cities, calling on the government in Khartoum to allow United Nation peacekeepers into Darfur.
Khartoum has dismissed the protests, saying those taking part have been misled by the international media.
