Hi all,
I'll be leaving for Amsterdam in a few days. I Posted here a few weeks ago and asked for reccomendations for good records stores in Amsterdam. Well.. since the site crashed the post was lost and I didn't get the chance to save the names. Can you please reply again?

The only ones I know are
Vinyl:
- Outland Records --> Zeedijk (near the hookers :p, when you get out of the Central Station head to the left)
- Midtown Records --> Nieuwendijk (just follow the crowd from Central Station, straight ahead)
- Rhythem Import --> Near Midtown
Only cd's etc.
- Fame --> at the Dam
- tons of Freerecordshops --> Central Station, Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat & Leidsestraat... all in the centre of Amsterdam
Sorry, don't know the actual adresses...

recordstores in amsterdam are suckin like hell,the service is very bad,if you wanna go to a nice store nearby amsterdam you should go to ab records, www.abrecords.nl its in zaandam,15 mins by train from amsterdam.
You could mail him b4 you get there,and even order if you like,but if you rather go to amsterdam,the links above are ok i guess.
No Amsterdam for us anymore;) |
