Seeing the Roll Call thread, I can't believe that no one started a Review of one of the best parties I've ever been to in Toronto!
Before I start the review, I just want to apologize in case someone DID IN FACT already make one, and I'm just too blind to see it. In that case, please delete this thread :toothless
We were one of the first ppl to get in and man was it worth getting there early!! We got free drinks, a wikid table, and tons of room to dance for the next 4 hours.
Every single one of the DJs were amazing! I couldn't have dreamed for better music!!!! :toocool:
I got to meet a lot of you that were there before 5pm, and I must say everyone was incredibly nice! Some amazing f**in dancers too!! You guys can mmoovveee!!!
Overall I'd give this party 11 out of 10. And to the guy on the ferry with the bongo when it was taking 30 for the damn thing to take off, I THANK YOU!!! You saved a huge riot from breaking out, considering we had 9 hrs of music, and then complete silence :confused: You broke you your bongo, and from just your beat alone, you created some of the best music we've ever heard!!! sweeeeet ;) |

| well for starters it was sooo fkn unorganized!! long line-ups.. it rained... the only good things about it.. were the ppl... and most importantly the djs who did an incredible job!!! every one of them did well for toronto!:) addy closed the place up.. and he did a phenomenal job.. matt c was also awesome.. manzone/stong are always great... and kenny g was the first person i saw spinning after i waited half an hr in some stupid ass line up to get thru one part of the patio to the other.. fkn rediculous... otherwise for a first party it was awesome.. but I think next time they should do the party on a hotter weekend.. when they know it wont rain... the rain ruined the first half of the party.. :(... overall id rate this a 8.5/10 |

| Kat, 8.5/10 is still a pretty high rating. Can't predict the rain but did they at least have a contigency plan or did everyone just get soaked? |

| I had a great time at the party, but i wish it went later than 9pm. The rain didn't bother me in the least b/c it was just a little drizzle---i'd actually rather have that than bake in the sun all day. Music was what'd you'd expect from the lineup, loved the drums, and i'd much rather dance on the patio than on grass. I dunno if anyone ventured off for a bit to the urban stage...i gotta say, THAT was the ty party! Did anyone go to the docks afterparty ? |
