-Second Sun's remix of Queen's "Another one bites the dust" was one of the biggest tracks of WMC 2006, with spins from Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, etc. They did the mix with Cedric Gervais, the awesome Space Miami resident DJ.
-The Queen remix was approved by the original members of Queen and will be released on Positiva Records.
-Other upcoming releases on Positiva Records include the Cedric Gervais & Second Sun remix of the new Shapeshifters track "Sensitivity", a huge favorite with the top DJs (from Deep Dish to Desyn Masiello & Nic Fanciulli)
-Antoine got asked to sing the lead vocal on the new Sharam Deep Dish track "Party all the time"
-Second Sun & Cedric Gervais have also finished an awesome remix of the track, which will be released on Ministry of Sound
-Second Sun just completed their remix of Sander Kleinenbergs new single This is not Miami, which will come out on Sanders label Little Mountain Recordings (LMR)
-Second Sun's new track "Slaves of the Sun" will be coming out on Markus Schulz' label Coldharbour and will be featured on his "Ibiza 06" compilation
-In other trance news Second Sun's single "Playground" (on Paul Van Dyk's Vandit records) was hugely successful, with spins from PVD himself (who still plays their hit collaboration "Crush"), Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten & Eddie Halliwell
exciting, haven't heard "slaves of the sun", I assume this was a collaboration between matthew cerf (original second sun member) and shawn mitiska |
