I am looking for a good CD ripper to make high quality WAV files of some tracks for a mix, is there any particular one that people recommend?
Does the WinAMP one work well? |

| Will using some of these suggested programs give me better sound quality than using the WinAMP CD ripper? |

the only thing that sucks about it is that it won't try to cover up the scratches/errors on the CD like some rippers will. iTunes will try and smooth over skips and frame errors.
EAC is 'exact', which means that if your CD is messed up, you get an exact copy of that messed up cd :happy2:
lesson: baby your CDs, burn copies of them when you buy them and use the copy, keep the original in its case |

Ive been using CDex for years.
Very simple, decent speed, good quality compression, and its FREE. |
