With the lease for the Louvain St warehouse ending, we are throwing one last party stripping the layers.
With an empty space just yearning for a full blown party and what is more fitting than the party place is that the place was built for Bassic.
After the successes of the last few parties the friendship group is building. These parties are about creating a funky, friendly atmosphere with total harmony between auditory and visual stimulation. Most importantly its all about giving it back to the party people of Melbourne by finding that underground scene that seemed almost lost. All door money finances current and future adventures – we are not about chasing high profits, its about having fun.
Bassic is everything its title suggests, “relatively simple and fundamentally all about having an amazing moment in time” Held rain, hail and shine on the 26th August, you will find us at our warehouse in Coburg.
Within this intimate industrial space, creative lighting techniques, projected images and animation, imaginative décor and deep moving intelligent music will take you on a “BLISSFUL” journey from the Neverland and back to the Bassic’s

They will touch on a vast range of music, in particular smooth, progressive and thumping trance, deep house and funky groovy techno, breaks and twisted psy. With a spot of tribal thrown in here and there.
Presale Ticket Donations: $15 and will be $20 on the door
**Patrons must have an invitation or be on a guest list to gain entry to the event
Bassic Promotions
Today most of our promotions are done via email and the internet, sms and word of mouth. With our large mailing list and various threads on particular forums we hope to reach many interested minds and likeminded people. We ask that whilst you are out and about within the scene in Melbourne that you seek out funky and friendly people to and give them the word on the event so we can grow our network and continue to throw party after party for the people who deserve it. Make sure you let them know that this is a small intimate underground party.
Any suggestions and contributions are welcomed! We are continually looking for future DJ’s and Aspiring Artists, décor design teams and crews, lighting technicians, and scene creators, performers (poi spinners, dancers, magicians, ect..) and of course promoters.
