Basilisk is the force behind Ektoplazm Productions, a multifaceted organization chartered to help spread psychedelic trance culture across North America. As one of Toronto’s top DJs, he regularly performs sets across the region, setting new standards for mixing ability, track selection, and overall set flow. From the deepest most funky electro-flavoured progressive grooves to the intense peaks of hard and sinister psycore, all aspects of the psychedelic trance movement are harvested for cutting edge selections to be used in eclectic performances and highly polished mixes. A firm believer in the concept of the set as a journey, Basilisk takes a classic technoshamanistic approach to DJing when possible, orchestrating marathon sets thematically suited to specific events and locales. Basilisk’s dedication to the craft is motivated by a long-time love for the music of psychedelic trance.
