AREA one
- Trance, Hard Dance, Hard Style -
MARC VAN LINDEN (Vandit, www.marcvanlinden.com) - Germany
The German dj & Producer Marc Van Linden has already over a relatively short span of time produced a series of “big in Demand Must Have” Tracks & Remixes. Both Recent Solo singles “AM 2 PM” & ...”LH 3293” are genuine club smashes and were pushed & Played by many of the global players like Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk & John Askew, to name a few. Marc is not a total newcomer to the scene as his dj & producer career started back in 1996 where he was singed to various German independent labels but the past couple of years his career has made huge leaps forward enabling him to play events in the A league with such djs as Paul Van Dyk & many others. Please welcome Marc to his very first Canadian debut at Electrified.
PHIL YORK (Tranzlation, www.hardtimez.com) - United Kingdom
From his gigs at cult Northern Night Parlez-Vous?. Inside Out in Glasgow, Tall Trees in Newquay, The Tidy Weekenders and his own Scottish Promotion Nuklear Puppy, no part of the UK remains untouched by his talents with high profile sets at the hard dance awards, wildchild and hard house academy stamping the Geordie’s name across the capital. Meanwhile, his globe trotting tours to the USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa have spread his elevating message at the biggest international parties around. In short, York’s career is flying every bit as high as the euphonic synth propulsions that power it. Somehow, we’re sure York’s ascension isn’t quite over yet and he will show us how it’s done right at his debut show in Vancouver.
SHY BROTHERS (www.shybrothers.com Solid Records) CAN
The Shy Brothers aka Mike Shir & Benjamin Shir ventured into the world of music at a tender age. With deep passion for modern electronic music, their talent in writing and producing has been their key success. More-over, their distinctive sound has allowed them to stand out from the rest. Breaking into music charts all around the world with their shaming singles: Electrified, My Mind, Good Morning, Nemesis, Lost Love. Remixes such as Igor S “Stop Dj” Phil York “Angels in Heaven” Emmies “More Than This” are also notable mentions. Look out for their upcoming singles & remixs “Electrified”, “Midnight Funk”, “Human Design”, & The first time ever Remix EP. This colaboarative project is made up of Hirshee, Jeff Daniels & Oliver Nickels, proving without a doubt that three heads are better then one. These three have been producing some of the most inovative slammin dance tracks to grace the worlds stage in a long time. Calling Vancouver Canada home they are surrounded by some of the most serene beauty on the planet, but what do they care? They are all inside all day working on music anyway. hahaha
go stan :toothless
the loudest sound system at MLC concerns me tho
MLC cannot handle a very loud system
if it will be anywhere near as loud as last year's dooms, people are just gonna go deaf
anything that loud should not be legal :wtf: |
