TWISTER 3

ROOM 1 - Hard Dance / Trance

B.K. (a.k.a Ben Keen) - London, UK / www.BKworld.net
Ben Keen, best known to dance fans the world over as BK, is one of the most prolific DJ / producers of the past decade. As in-house producer at Nukleuz, he wrote, co-wrote and remixed over 70 releases, single-handedly shaping the sound of hard dance in the mid nineties. As a DJ, unrivalled technical ability and proven track record for having an ear for what dancefloors want to hear has led him to headline major events around the world, including key festivals such as Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Creamfields, Godskitchen Global Gathering, Dance Valley and many more. His productions have reached even into the mainstream charts, as with his 'Revolution' single which was the most successful hard dance singles of all time, entering the national charts in the UK and many other territories while capturing the imagination of DJs from right across the dance scene. Since leaving Nukleuz and starting his own “Riot! Recordings”, BK now has a platform from which to showcase his other sounds, whether it be the tough tech trance sounds of 'Soul Image' championed by Paul van Dyk, or the Tiësto and Sander van Doorn playlist favourite 'Amino'. It's the diverse sounds of BK that ensure he's a truly global force in dance music today.

SOPHIE SUGAR - London, UK. / www.SophieSugar.com
Her style can be summed up in three words 'pure uplifting trance'. Her passion for both the music and mixing is clear to every crowd and her uplifting sets are fast building as her reputation as the biggest female trance DJ and producer in the UK. Sophie has been DJing for 8 years and has played for many events in the UK and Internationally including four successful seasons in Ibiza and nights such as Passion, The Gallery, Serious, Charlys Angelz, Fabric (Moscow), Dance Academy, The Coach (Northern Ireland) and Peach at Eden (Ibiza) to name but a few. She has also enjoyed producing her own tracks and developing her own sound over the last few years. Her latest track "Isis" under "Sophie Sugar presents Saona" was recently given 5 out of 5 in DJ magazine's Trance record reviews. It's the follow up track to "Call of Tomorrow" (Galactive Records) that is currently getting played by top DJs around the globe, including Paul van Dyk, and can be found on Armin's 'A State of Trance' mixed compilation. Don't miss her first Vancouver appearance!

It's actually only $45 dude to start. Not bad considering this line-up is one of the biggest headliner line-up's the MLC has seen in awhile.
