| wow. this was a pretty solid night. very busy, pretty high energy dancefloor, lots of great tracks. Danny and I were talking early on and he was saying he's not huge into electro and that he needs his music to have more of a solid drive. But in actuality, there's so much progressive that gets played and a lot of this new electro is just a newer form of prog. Definitely retains a lot of similar sounds and energy and a solid thump to it. Heard a few huge tracks last night, and James E played a lot of good stuff. A fair amount of hot girls too. Seems impossible not to have the need to go to Gecko at least once in a weekend now! |

I really like some electroish stuff... I just try and steer clear of bandwagon rides.. especially this 'filthy, dirty' etc' one that's currently making the rounds. Not to take anything away from the DJs who play at this night.. I haven't seen them play tbh, so I can't really comment. I love all types of music, though moderation is the key :) |
