Because i'm joining the Special Forcesc (aka The Green Berets), I don't get to choose my MOS until i've completed SFAS (Special Force Assesment and Selection), as well as the Q Course. Once I finish those two schools is when I get to choose my MOS. Hopefully i'll become a Special Forces Medic (18D). My recruiter told me that the final test to become a medic is having to keep a goat alive for a certain amount of time after it's been shot in the head by the instructor!

As far as MEPS. I went down once to take the ASVAB and my physical, but the driver ed up and took me to the hotel instead. My recruiter called me up, told me there was a mistake and I needed to do more paperwork, so they came and picked me up and took me home.

Now I have jury duty and don't have time to go again until the case is over. I've heard people say MEPS is the worst part of their military career.:eyes:

I can say that it seriouslly is, the reason why I can tell you this is because I was going to go into the army as well, combat medic MOS. But damn, meps was the longest day of my life, lines, physicals, lines paperwork, chairs, tests...failing colorblind exam many times, then more lines, then the oath. I was falling asleep standing by the end. But hey, maybe it will be shorter for you since you have your physical done. Best wishes and luck bro! Have a good one today :)
