"We saw Ronski outside after the show, didn't talk to him though, didn't want to be rude."

Never rude to ask Ronski for an autograph or a picture. He's a super cool guy, his english is prefect, and he loves to kick it and chat.

Andy Moor is a goof- especially when he's drinking- but is super chatty.

Piet (Rank1), KvA, Above and Beyond, MIKE, Randy Boyer (Enmass), Andy Perring (Pulser), Christopher Lawrence... all of them never consider it rude to have a handshake or a picture- they thrive on it. If you liked the set, take the chance to tell them- makes their egos even bigger! Big heads or not, still the salt of the earth.

I'm actually playing a show up in ND this weekend. What's the scene like up there??

But yea, Ronski was a super chill guy. It was a little intimidating standing next to him and his manager, as theyre probably 6'4 and 6'7. and andy moor is definitely a chatty drunk :p

well if LA is looking for any smaller guys to play Spundae send em my way ;)

DJing in ND? Where at?

The scene really depends on where you're at... Fargo/Grand Forks areas possibly cool... but it's been few years since I've been around there, so really not too sure how much people there have come out of the dark depths of classic rock! (not knockin it, just saying there is way more to life than Foghat and KISS while downing that case of Busch Light, man). My very best wishes to you that they don't happen to think you're a DJ in the "community center wedding" way. If you've never been in the northern realm of things, they aren't always as sophistcated as the city folk are- that could have change, though- hope so!

My boyfriend and I were back in northern MN (indian reservation) for my brother's wedding last year. My boyfriend had never pulled tabs, never seen the northern lights... SouCali all the way. He went up to the DJ (typical two cd players and a makeshift console... "Sweet Home Alabama" and the montage from "Grease" wedding DJ) and asked if he had any ATB. Nope. Armin van Burren? Nope. Paul van Dyk? Nope. Tiesto, BT, ALICE ING DJ???? nothing. The DJ looked worried, then baffled, paused, and said to him, "Slow down and tell me those again... I wanna write them down!" LOL

I'm not sure who to fly a demo past to get in at Spundae, but you can check their website (just google Spundae) to see if they are taking demos and submissions. If I fly across a name for booking, I'll let you know. ;o)
