i remember the first time i met Bobby... when i stood next to him for an entire night, rockin' out to Armin @ Vision in May of '04, exchanging "hell yeah!" glances and smoking cigs together, even though due to circumstances we were unable to have a real conversation.
i also remember the second time i met Bobby... when he came to hang out with me in Milwaukee when Dave Seaman was playing in Chicago... but instead of going to the show, we got super wasted and listened to Dave Seaman sets on my computer while we played video games and chatted with random people on MSN and watched peculiar late-night B-movies about men running around in gorilla suits and sneakers.
ever since then, i have considered Bobby a great friend and someone who is always a blast to hang out with, no matter where we are; whether it's on TA, MSN, out at the clubs, at some sketchy afters, or just hangin' out at my apartment, spinning and enjoying some drinks. anyone who has ever hung out with Bobby knows he's just a fun-loving guy who is there to have a good time.
not only has he been a great person to talk about music with, but i have confided in Bobby when i needed a friend to talk to... when things were all screwed up in my life and when i was getting into an exciting yet confusing relationship with RJT, he was one of the first to know, and he was there on MSN every day to listen to me bitch and listen to me go on and on about my TA crush. not only did he offer me advice whenever i needed it, he offered me support, and that was the most important thing.
so cheers to Bobby, our MWTA mod; although i don't consider him some sort of authority figure... i consider him a good friend, a genuinely cool dude, and a wickedly sweet dancing robot who "tastes like vanilla!"
