With Pride just around the corner, nightclub super promoter, Steve Ireson, weighs in with what promises to be the most exciting event of the summer. Pride Sunday will mark the 5 year anniversary of the first Boy’s Life party to the day. With that in mind Steve, along with partners Mancandy.com and long term collaborator Christian Shore have put together a line up second to none. Featuring some of Toronto’s hottest DJ talent, international favourites and a list divas that can only be described as an onslaught of vocal talent, this event promises to set a new bench mark in the already tremendously successful Boy’s Life serries.
Highlights of the night will include dance chart topping artist Celeda performing her crowd favourites including “Music is the Answer,” “The Underground,” and “Dirty Filthy.” And House music diva, Vernessa Mitchell known for such hits as “Joy,” “Reap,” “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” “Took my Life,” will be joined by San Francisco’s, transgendered Transcendence Gospel Choir in what promises to be the biggest floor stomping, hands in the air moment of the pride weekend.
It’s not just about boys at this party. Bitch Slap! joins in all the fun, taking over the Phoenix Parlour with the girl power trio of Sydney Blu, Dayhota and Juno nominated singer Mandy J. The room promises to be banging.
While pondering the incredible line up, Steve Ireson commented, “Boy’s Life has always had a reputation for fun, exciting and diverse events. This line up will be a wonderful celebration of our first 5 years. This particular event truly feels like it’s been 5 years in the making.”
The event will take place Sunday June 25th at the Phoenix Concert Theatre 410 Sherbourne Street, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The entire venue will be in use, including the Parlour and the Grand Balcony, with a combined capacity of 1500.
Tickets are only $ 15 for the first 100, $ 20 for the next 200 after that, $ 25 in advance and more at the door. Tickets go on sale at 10am Thursday June 1st at the Boyslife.ca & ManCany.com offices at 533 College Street, suite 301 (just west of Bathurst).
